ARDATH
Ardath, professional artist and teacher, has done demonstrations for groups such as Kooh-i-noor/Grumbacher and illustrated in professional publications, featured in museums, taught art classes, and shown and sold paintings throughout the United States.
She has received many awards, starting with the National Scholastics Gold Key Award and many other awards.
Ardath's business career was in engineering, oil exploration mapping, design of supersonic aircraft, process piping systems in missile silos, design of oil/gas refineries, plastics production facilities, architectural design of homes for contractors. This led to a natural desire to design and build her own “state of the art”, home, which sold to the Pabst Heir.
Eventually, a designer of transportation/handling equipment for Martin Marietta Peacekeeper and, culmination as the lead engineer for the design of the Titan IV Airborne Equipment.
All of this was art in some form, but now, Ardath is retired from that work-a-day world and she is working on her first and greatest love, fine art.
