GEORGE SCHWARTZ
George Schwartz taught English in the Denver public schools for thirty years. While he was grading papers his mind often turned to drawing and painting. Now that he has retired, he spends a lot of time painting and sculpting and never grades a paper.
He has several awards for his painting, principally at the Gateway To The Rockies show.
He has done murals for homes and a huge one was painted for the OCU waiting room at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital. He has sculpted in clay and sold a number of paintings of Denver’s Historic homes.
He can be contacted at 303-766-1999.
