The PROGRAM will be an oil demonstration by Peggy McGivern.
Since the November meeting was cancelled due to inclement weather there will be no review. However, our annually Christmas/Holiday party was, once again, a smashing success. Due to illness of Marion Wright, the party was moved to Floy Walbergís house (we thank her for this last minute volunteering).
Workshop: There will be a workshop on Encaustic on February 26 (Saturday) 9:00am - 3:30pm and will be taught by Rachel Neubauer and Joyce Madden. Charge is $20 for DAAG member and $30 for non-members. This will be held at the Glendale Community Center. A supply list (very minimal) will be on the signup sheet that will be passed around at the January and February meetings. If you cannot attend these meetings but want to attend this workshop, just call Joyce at 303-771-2019. A demonstration and samples will given prior to the workshop. Remember to include your $20 at signup time.
Our web site is www.daagonline.com is now back on line. We wonít bother you with the details, but it is up and running - not current, but running. Expect a phone call from a DAAG officer regarding our web site.
You need to get your updated resumÈs (forms are available) and photos of at least three (3) of your artwork to Rachel Neubauer and if you have something for the Historian book you can bring that along. Our History book is wonderful and if you havenít taken a look thru it, please do.
REFRESHMENTS for this January meeting will be furnished by Carmen Freeman and Helen Buznedo. For February will be Ann Hanscom and Ann Blecha. We still need volunteers for upcoming months. A sighnup sheet will be passed around at this January meeting. Oh, and good news, DAAG now has their own coffee pot - a 40 cupper - this was donated to the club. If you have any questions, you can contact Sally Moore at 303-698-2003.
Deadline for the February newsletter will be February 2, 2005.
The next Board Meeting will be January 26th at Eleanor Hargroveís.
Shhhhhhhhh
Out of courtesy for our demonstrators/speakers, please refrain from talking during the program. You have plenty of time to converse with your friends at the break, before and after the meeting.
Please keep the meeting room clean as you found it - also it would be helpful if you would put your chair back in its original position when you leave.
