Be sure to note any changes or additions on the attached (example would be e-mail address) because we use this information for the upcoming membership book.

The PROGRAM will be Marc Sabatella who will give us a critique. One (1) unframed artwork per member of DAAG. No guest paintings can be included in this critique. Remember if the picture is framed it will not be included in the critique.

Marc has been an artist for many years, taking classes, especially at the Denver Art Students League with Mitch Caster, Tony Ortega and Doug Dawson. His work is loose and impressionistic in nature and shows a natural affinity for finding exciting design possibilities and color harmonies with traditional subject matter. With his many accomplishments, Marc is an educator with an online art school and a mighty fine jazz musician. His web site is: www.outsideshore.com.

Review of last months program: Was a delightful demonstration in pastel by Ellen Masters. She arrived with her painting 1/4 completed and then she was able to finish the painting - giving many, many hints, tips and how-to information as she progressed with her painting. She used new pastels and her method with this painting was crosshatch. She started out with a linear drawing and then progressed to crosshatching. One hint, leave sky holes in trees.

Our web site is www.daagonline.com is up and running with Karl Johnson the manager of our website. To set up a member page, update your page, or have new photos taken of your artwork, you can bring them to a meeting -  they must be unframed and not shrink-wrapped. Be sure to call Joyce Madden at 303-771-2019 to tell her that you will be bringing paintings to that meeting (so she can bring her camera) A fee of $25.00 to each member will give that member a page of 6 paintings plus a bio. There are links to agencies, retail outlets (Meiningerís, etc), and organizations. Once your page is up and approved, your $25.00 is due. If you want to change one picture in your web site that is free, any more than that there is a flat fee of $25.00.

You need to get your updated resumÈs (forms are available) and photos of at least three (3) of your artwork to Rachel Neubauer and if you have something for the Historian book you can bring that along. Our History book is wonderful and if you havenít taken a look thru it, please do.

Shhhhhhhhh

Out of courtesy for our demonstrators/speakers, please refrain from talking during the program. You have plenty of time to converse with your friends at the break, before and after the meeting.

Just a note: this will be my last published newsletter. I have produced these monthly newsletters for a very long time and now it is time to get fresher ideas and format, so I am giving this to very capable hands, Dick Lutz.

Please keep the meeting room clean as you found it - also it would be helpful if you would put your chair back in its original position when you leave.
