GENERAL MEETING: Saturday September 17, 2005 at Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 E. Alameda Ave. Enter through the door on the east side ( south end of building).                    

 

Remember –--- 3rd Saturday of the month. If you are wearing your furnished name tag & your sign-up number is picked by our guest, you win $5.00  _______The “Hello” name tags are for our Guests only. Guests always welcome !

 

PROGRAM: Pat Fosvedt will critique our works. Bring one painting that is not framed or shrunk-wrapped. Pat juried our Koebel show and looks at good design elements – line, color, mass…………

 

NEXT BOARD MEETING: September 22 at Marion Wright’s.

                             

DEADLINE for newsletter is the THIRD of each month.

 

REFRESHMENTS: For the September meeting will be provided by Sally Moore & Dorothy Petet. October will be Adeline Diehl & Rachel Neubauer.

To set up your own page on the club’s site: Bring your paintings – without glass or shrink-wrap – to a meeting after you call Joyce Madden 303-771-2019. You can have six (6) paintings and a bio on the site. When it’s up and working – the charge is $25.00. One painting is changed free of charge. All other changes carry the $25.00 charge. It’s an opportunity for you to consider.

 

CURRENT SHOW at Boettcher Concert Hall contains all of the submitted works. None were rejected.

CLUB NOTES: Floy Walberg was in the All-Colorado show at the Depot in the month of August.

 

REVIEW: The gals from the Carousel Palette gave us an overview of turning our works into cards, journals, mouse pads. etc. Initiation fee is $150.00, yearly renewal is $50.00. Photograph your work is $35.00 & 100 cards (minimum) are made at .50 per card. You get .90 on the sale of each card. Since the owners are artists, they jury your work as not everything is accepted. HISTORY BOOK – is worth your time to browse through. If your page needs updating, please fill out the forms and bring your new pictures to Rachel Neubauer. Other information on the club’s history is also solicitied.
