REVIEW: Maxine uses Canson 1059 paper ( replaces morillo paper.) She
wet both sides, applied cool color to it, turned it overand applied warm
color to that side. After several reversals of the paper, a side was
picked and was developed by lifting, splattering, and negative painting
work. Interesting!

Society's show at Botanic Gardens.

WEB PAGE: daagonline.com Your Board would like to have a
wider representation of our artists on this site. It would sure help
our Exhibition Chairwomen - Eleanor Hargrove. As she contacts new
venues for our displays. Said venues often want slides. If Eleanor
can refer them to our web site - that would eliminate the need for
slides. While unframed and non-shrink wrapped works are
preferred, Joyce is going to allow us to bring framed works. We must
still call her prior to the meeting at which are are bringing our works.

The sense of style is in all sincere work, simply because it is sincere.
Temperment, constitution, and understanding being different in any
two people, their report of the simplest incident will never be the
same, yet each will be trurh, provided the artist limits himself to the
truth as he sees it and understands it. Konstantin Stanislavsky
