REVIEW: Pat Barr Clarke gave a very thought provoking and stimulating critique of our paintings. A BIG THANK YOU -------- “You all did a smashing job on the Botanic Gardens Show. There were 164 ballots for the People’s Choice Award. First place went to Helen Buznedo for her “African Market”, but there were twenty two paintings which received from three to seven votes.. Each artist received at least one vote for the People’s Choice. Among these votes were ten for bin works and three for rocks! All of you who worked on the show have my grateful Thank You’s. A special thanks goes to everyone who sat the show -- - several sat without paintings in the show. We all learned a lot about our fellow club members and the “people watching” of those walking through was fun.
