GENERAL MEETING: This will be the sixty-seventh meeting of the Denver Allied Arts Guild in the New Millennium! We meet at 9:30 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 East Alameda Avenue on the third Saturday of every month except July, August, and December. Please enter through the east door on Fairfax Street and feel free to bring your friends to our meetings. Remember to wear your nametag, because if your sign-in number is called, you will win $5.00, but you have to be wearing your nametag!
APRIL PROGRAM: Sharon Hann will demonstrate an art technique she is calling “Brain Teasers” which involves printmaking on paper. We will be participating, so bring sketchbooks and any color medium you would like. Sharon will provide everything else.
MARCH PROGRAM: Ann Hanscom demonstrated monoprinting using Ernestine Schissler’s method. She spread paint on plastic sheeting and crumpled the sheeting, and we put our papers on the paint and received most interesting results.
BOARD MEETING: The Board will meet at Rosemary Weiler’s house at 3:00 Friday, April 4th.
REFRESHMENTS: Rosemary McGibbon and Millie Wilner will provide refreshments for the April meeting. Sherry Gunnell and Floy Walberg will do May refreshments.
We were extremely sad to learn that our long-time member and friend Eleanor Hargrove passed away March 11th. Her memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. April 19th at Grace United Methodist Church, 4950 E. Yale Avenue in Denver. Eleanor was a wonderful person and we will miss her so very much.

(The resume book will be at the show. Be sure to send or give Marion Wright your updated resumes plus photos of your latest paintings, to be put in the book for the public to see. I’ll bring the book to the April General Meeting.)
